Most things in life are achievable if you want it bad enough, especially if you have a plan, or financial plans in this case.
You just have to have the desire, and if you do, you’ll find a way to achieve it or learn how to do it.
For example, when we started our business, we knew we needed a website. We had no idea how to do it, and when we got quotes for someone else to do it, it was just way too expensive.
After a few full days of research though, a lot of trial and error and a lot more research, I was starting to understand it, and what was at first a very daunting experience became something that I really enjoyed putting together and found super rewarding.
Planning for your retirement could be similar if you don’t know what you want to do. You might not know whether you’ll have enough money in retirement, or when you can retire. It can be a daunting prospect, and you don’t want to give up work and find that you left too early and you have no way to go back.
This is why having financial plans is so important and why it’s so important to understand where you’re at and what you want to be able to do in your future.
Once you combine the clarity you gain from having a financial plan with the desire to achieve your retirement goals, you’ll be well on the way to achieving it.
